The assessment update of all properties in Ontario was cancelled for 2006 and 2007. Only owners whose assessment information has changed since the last update, have been sent a Notice.

Although the assessment updates for 2006 and 2007 have been cancelled, MPAC continues to inspect properties, update values and improve the accuracy of its information. The Notices sent this fall are the result of this activity. The Assessment Act requires MPAC to send a Notice when any information contained on the assessment roll has changed from year to year.
